Cambridge Area EMSHome Visits

While the CAEMS is honored to care for all members of the community at any time, a new community-based innovation involves EMS personnel visiting patients in their homes.

The program is designed to implement measures which improves health, reduces unnecessary hospitalizations and ER visits, and reduces overall healthcare costs.”

Residents who want an RN/EMT to visit their home (when there is no emergency!) please call us at 608-423-3511 and we will discuss how we can help you with your needs.

There is no charge for this service.

Better overall health

Prevention of ER visits will improve public safety, reduce costs and improve the overall health of the community and EMS system.

The role of Cambridge Emergency Medical Technicians is evolving. While continuing to operate primarily as 911 emergency responder, we intend to better support, educate and empower residents to improve their overall health and satisfaction within the healthcare systems. The program enlists many providers, EMTs and RNs who have extensive experience in patient care and connections to inpatient and outpatient resources.

If you have questions about your health, your injury or disease, or your medications, we can help. We will partner with your physician to help you understand your care and find the help you may need. Please call us at 608-423-3511 and we will discuss how we can help you with your needs.
